End of School

Just had Cole's end of the Year party and Seth's last Day. I

Seth's End of the Year Party

I can not believe that School is over. I cried all the way home after this picture was taken. The first day of DK for Seth. Another name for DK for some is Young 5's. He has had a wonderful Year. WE LOVE LOVE his Teacher Mrs. Greca. 
He has done so well Academically and socially. He only got in trouble once this year for getting into it with a little boy that kicked him. To think I worried so much about my Sushi Boy getting in trouble:)

His End of the Year party had a Western Theme. Mrs. Greca got all the kids little cowboy hats and hankies so cute.

Heart

The heart is a myogenic muscular organ found in all animals with a circulatory system (including all vertebrates), that is responsible for pumping blood throughout the blood vessels by repeated, rhythmic contractions. The term cardiac (as incardiology) means "related to the heart" and comes from the Greek καρδιά, kardia, for "heart".


Unless you have a child it is hard to understand but the moment they put that slimy beautiful baby on your chest your heart comes out of your body and walks around in your child. 


Today we went to the Festival in Downtown Grand Rapids. We were having a great old time and then all of the sudden I said "Where's Cole" followed by panic terror swearing on my part. WE looked for what seemed eternity but was 5 mins and then I found him just walking around looking at stuff. He did not seem to even notice he was lost. He said he knew where I was. First I cried then I hugged him. Then I got mad. Mad because I told him at least 10 times to stay right next to me. I told him I had never been so scared. My heart was breaking. He cried and assured me it would not happen again. I pray to God it does not.


After that we got our faces painted.

I was washing Dishes and looked over at the slider and saw these cute faces.

Don't Mess with Momma

Jana was sick Monday. We took her in because we thought she had croup. It was either that or some other respiratory illness that was causing her to wheeze. Last night she had a fever so I freaked out. With her history of having phenomena I was not taking any chances. So we went to the Med center. They had a three hour wait and because of the ER saw her Monday they said take her back there. She was charming all the nurses and Doctors. They told us that her left Ear looked red and gives a a script for Amoxicillin. Then another Doctor came in he checked her out said "Oh she is a girl could be a UTI" Really??? I was ticked because I have heard other Mom's talking about how every time a little girl gets a fever the ER Doctors jump on UTI and order a catheter. Can you believe he had the lack of a better word "Balls" to say it does not hurt that bad!!!! I was furious at this point. I said "Really have you ever had one shoved up your". He just sheeply said "NO". Poor girl it took forever and her screaming made me cry inside. I kept promising I would take her to McDonalds after and get her a Rolo Mcflurry and French fries. The Nurses were great and kept telling me they were sorry and they did not know why some Doctors perform tests that are not needed. Believe me I gave him a look that could kill when we were leaving. An hour later a negative test and a script for her ears we were on our way home. Jana is acting fine today. I am spoiling her and trying to make up last night.

Flowers

I love Flowers. I love planting Flowers even more when Seth helps me. We made a trip to Signs Nursery today to get flowers. They are Family owned and flowers at 8.95 a flat you really can't beat it. We got Salvia, Petunias and Geraniums We mostly planted them in front but added some in back.  I attempted landscape stone. Lets just say I should have let my Husband who lays brick for a living. It is a hack job but hey can't shoot a girl for trying. My Husband just kind of shook his head up and down... Hmmm what did you do today. He likes the flowers though;)

I made a yummy dinner of Chicken strogenoff. Easy Peasy just Add to a small crock pot 4 pieces of Chicken, Container of Cream cheese with Chives and Onions and a can of cream of mushroom soup. Let it cook for 5 hours then shred with a fork. Mix in 8-10 oz of egg noodles. Yummy. I made mine with Corn on the Cob and Garlic Rolls.
